Painting / Elli Sorenson

Elli Sorenson lives in the Mimbres Valley near Silver City, New Mexico, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where her colorful landscapes and wildlife paintings are well known. Elli also sews and hand paints quilts and one-of-a-kind works of clothing. Her work is included in numerous private collections and has been shown in exhibitions throughout the United States, such as the Fall Arts Festival in Jackson and the Festival of the Cranes at the Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, which chose her painting of singing cranes as their signature festival image for 2008.

Elli is passionate about travel and has painted scenes of many places where she has been throughout the world, such as South Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, and most recently, the Sakura cherry blossom season in Japan.
